Daddy Issues
Most girls with relationship problems
Usually have a daddy issue.
But my Dad is awesome!
And probably cooler than you.
No offense,
But it's true.
So you can clearly see I don't have
A daddy issue
You would think by now I've figured out why
My relationships always make
Somebody cry
Whether it's him, or it’s me,
It really doesn't matter
All that I care is my freaking heart’s shattered
But I'm just a kid
So there's no need to worry
Getting married, you say?
Please,
I'm in no hurry.
Honestly, what's the rush?
And men always put up a fuss.
So, even as the teenager I am,
I shall put no trust in a man.
Unless I would like to get
My stupid heart broken
And I'm sorry if this poem
Is very outspoken
Oh, and guess what?
You'd probably think
My doors are all shut
But they're not.
They're quite open,
But only to you
Unless you decide
To just past through
But it's worth it,
Even if you just turn my heart into grit
That would be the third time, you know?
And I really believe
When you say you won't go
Maybe this time, I could handle it though.
This just proves how you shouldn't
Put trust in a man.
Two times
You ran.
And I told myself that I wouldn't,
But this proves that I couldn't
Stick to what I said
Even though I've
Already bled
But I will bleed more
Because you're back in my head
So what should I do?
Just accept you.
Now after this poem,
You can see it’s quite true.
I clearly don't have
A daddy issue.
P.S.
My only issue,
Is you
