Running up and down the court
non stop, hoping for a break.
Having to go for an extra minute.
Three minutes go by,
still no break
Telling my coach
to take me out,
Still, he doesn't listen.
Half time is just four minutes away.
He tells me to keep playing,
to never give up.
The buzzer rings,
I breath a sye of relief.
Then I realize there's still another half to go.
