You’ve been with me since the beginning,
You’ve helped me when I’m in need,
You pushed me to keep going,
You helped me succeed in school and sports,
But you haven't just helped,
You’ve made me angry and sad,
You’ve laughed at me when I messed up,
You’ve made me think of running away,
But I’m glad I didn’t,
Even though you’ve made me angry,
You’ve always believed that I could succeed,
And I know you love me.
