In his world of music
He can be himself
Just puts on his headphones
And listens to no one else
Bobbing his head, drumming his hand
air guitar, though in perfect rhythm, completely insane
Drowning out the sounds around him
His lip-synching in vain
Living in his own universe
Void of regrets and concerns
Sending his worries into oblivion
Dismissing his fears
Slipping from reality
Into his sublime fantasy
