I live in this place
Anger, greed, evil, disgrace
Where modesty is low and kids are high
Where a common question is "can I get a light?"
I live in this place
Depression, lies, and people who are two-faced
Where men wear makeup and women show their chest
Where people post pictures and are instantly "blessed"
I miss this place
Innocence, love, and saying grace
Where tbhs and rates weren't a thing
And babies weren't born before a ring
What has happened to us?
There's no love, no life, no trust
People are lost and Christians aren't showing up
Let's go back to the place I love

I usually write when I'm thinking a lot or when I'm passionate about something I've thought about. This piece just came to me and I decided to share it with others. I hope people will see where I'm coming from in my own opinions, and maybe think about their own lives and how they can improve themselves. I thought a lot about my own improving as I was writing this.
