Quickly got, Quickly lost
Quickly got, Quickly lost
One beautiful Summer night,
Stars a gazing, oh so bright.
A chill breeze of wind,
To wash away this sin.
The relaxing thoughts of sleep,
Are something for my mind to keep.
Plentiful ideas washing away,
any idea not to stay.
This mystery wonderland,
Of the beautiful nights, and summer tans.
Quickly got, Quickly lost,
The days are short, the nights are soft.
Forever waiting for the time,
Where the sun won’t shine.
Slipping away from reality,
is my own consciality.
Sleep is never a desire,
For I do not tire.
On this boat,
Of open hope.
