Treason of Love
Bliss and sweet you come,
Devouring our families
Merrily for cheer,
Upon our crippled backs,
You march your dance ‘til we crack.
Looped through we keep pace,
Those fallen glimpse their coming,
A single shot out
They glide without a feeling,
Simply free from tyranny.
Who bestows a number,
For whom I am obtained by,
Called by bitter end,
Treason of love here you stand,
Watching your people pass down.
Who hands life to end,
Who watches war for pleasure,
The one we pray too,
The one who destroys our homes,
Defiled love you break us down.

I was inspired by the horrors of WW2 as being a jewish teen, I have been astonished by the treatment of my people. It starts out the first sentence as "Blist and sweet you come" cause when hitler first ran for office, Jews we're major supporters of him for he ran off a Pro-Germany campaign. It later goes into detail of the horrors Jews faced, and finishes with the questioning of a god. Yet the final phrase refurbishes the ideal of lost religion as many had not only questioned god, but quit the religion of judaism.
