Justice In Blood

If there’s one thing I learned from God,
Is that you can never spare the rod?
Justice should always be served with blood.

The crimes of men be never forgot,
For what they do, to others, to God,
Justice shall always be served with blood.

The girls spreading their cruel gossips,
the boys punching each other on the lips,
their justice must always be served with blood.

Biased teacher, deaf-mute parent,
forgiveness is only a temporary rent,
justice will always be served with blood.

I bid my time,
to punish their crime,
I keep my peace,
let them rest as ease.?They live their lives,
like bees in hives,
blind to consequence,
as they climb my fence.
Justice should always be served with blood.

They go in groups,
like Nazi troops,
justice should always be served with blood.

They bully the boys, and
then the girlfriend,
their justice will always be served with blood.

The hurtful words
and the silent herdes,
the shoving arms
causing permanent harms,
their justice will be served with blood.

I sit and watch them,
a dagger under my pants hem,
righteous, cold, ready to kill,
and one day, kill them all I will.

One day all will be too much,
my final nerves these sinners will touch,
I will cleanse them with their blood,
shred their flesh, return them to mud,
and justice will have been served in blood.
Served in blood
Served in blood.

This is an in-class assignment that I think I did pretty decently. A response to the poem "Life Doesn't Frighten Me" by Maya Angelou. I took the format of Angelou's poem, and told a story from the perspective of a student psychopathic rage against the bullying implied by the narrator of "Life Doesn't Frighten Me".
