The Colours of Love
Lavender- the hearts light
Still in mind; yet out of sight
Honesty and trust equally fulfilled
Ones deepest secret never revealed
Purple; yet not quite so
something few words can bestow
Olive envious as it appears
Formal ways though no one adheres
Uncontrollable fluctuating senses
Realizing Love does have expenses
Happy jealousy, olive green
Not all things are as seen
Violet; two faced
An unchangeable distaste
Sin after having sinned
Changes swiftly like the wind
No reassured reciprocal
Oh! utterly unpredictable
Ebony; the deepness surfaces
Reasonable doubt; empty purposes
With love comes hate
And a tendency to reciprocate
Just like all good things up tide
Love too has a dark side.
Now look at the first letter
of the first word
In all the stanzas above
Then you will notice
The Colours of Love
