The tears they fall and drown my eyes, as all that is gold goes to die, as distant Eden turns to dust, my heart shrivels with a lonely lust

My soul it wishes to survive, but it is laden with their lies, but all this time I choose to fight, and one day I shall reach the light

Now my eyes they both turn white, and I begin to lose my sight, and I wonder where and what went wrong, as I sing my mournful song
