Taking it in
When I sat, you come to me-
Soaking in to my brain
Into my mouth and out my eyes
Following me, walking behind me
Never leaving my side-
Lie there under the linen-
Pressed into my side-
“Ill never leave, search-
for the happiness deep inside”
Happiness never existed
Water pours like a waterfall
Down my face, soaking in
Not only my shirt but my skin
Nothing was okay-
Not even the friends, family that stood about me
You shattered my heart like glass-
In the corner of the dark rooms you seem to hide
Never came out but never to shy
Brought the worst in me
Never to be gone again
