Ode to In N Out

Money doesn't grow on trees

And if they don't pay the rent

What's the point of keeping them around?

And when we cut the trees down,

Remember to dig them up

Because capitilism can't sustain if it's

Rooted to the ground.

Don't be dramatic, it's not that much hotter

And if the Titanic were around today

It wouldn't have to worry about icebergs

Or polarbears

But who cares if my grandchildren never see one?

I've never seen one.

And since when have we ever cared about extinction?

We ignore genocides all the time.

If we had another plannet that we could to escape to,

Nobody would care about the Earth's well being.

So use the money we get from domestication

To dry your tears

Or better yet, bottle them up

Because we only have a few months of

Water left here in California

But at least we got In N Out

To help us ignore our own genocide

It would be silly to expect my poem to save the earth. I just hope it can help it.
