“Run Clint run!”, said Mary. “I can’t it’s too slippery” Clint exclaimed.
It was cold and snowy. Negative three degrees and no electricity. Seemed like the only thing the twins Clint and Mary could do at this point was play outside, but there wasn’t enough snow. They waited in the steamy, thick soggy air. It made Clint almost feel like he had a fever with the hot layer of clothes and the thin frosty air from outside. They sat in sough wind, on lacerated carpet, in what looked like their abandoned living room, with elder parents. They watched the blankets of snow pile outside, and soon went out there to play.
Mary and Clint built an army of snowmen outside in the shadowy weather. They compacted wet cotton snow for the body. They topped it with a dry carrot nose, spoiled blackberry eyes, and two sticks from the tilted tree out front. They left the snowmen in front of the serrated bush. They rushed back inside because their hands were glaciation. They made washed out hot chocolate and warmed themselves up.
They went back outside to take a picture with the five snowmen, and there was only four snowmen, while one was dancing on the rocky road. The twins screamed at the top of their lungs in shock wondering how this snowman is doing what it’s doing. Next thing the twins knew, they were being chased down the icy road. The screaming only made the snowman displeased.
The twins turned back to what only looks like an abandoned house to get away from the snowmen and when they arrived, there were no snowmen left…

My piece is about snowmen that come to life and torture the twins who built them
