An Unfulfilled Dream
There was a young brown haired girl who chased fame,
She wanted money, power, fans, a life full of acclaim.
So she moved to a city far away,
Leaving her friends and family at bay.
She went to audition after audition,
She didn’t get the roles, but no one could stop her ambition.
Until one day she got a part playing a bitter person,
And she played the part so long her personality began to worsen.
She got lost in the role she created for herself, playing it for so long,
She no longer remembered who she was or where to belong.
She was all alone, no family or friends,
But her heart had become so dark it was too late to make amends.
For she had failed; she had no fans, no one she inspires,
She got lost chasing a dream full of empty promises and desires.
