Before I Go,
I must recall,
That dreaded night long ago,
We were together,
Staring at the clouds,
You looked over at me,
A silly little cow,
You told me your secret,
I blanched in surprise,
And you just smirked,
As I walked off and cried,
You followed in my footsteps,
We came to a cliff,
I looked over the abyss,
And gave you one last kiss,
Gathering my cloak,
I wrapped you up tight,
And sent you off,
Away into the night,
Over the precipice,
And down to beneath,
I saw your last expression,
The love for a lost shepherd sheep,
Clinging.
