To All the Girls in the World
They lied
You don't have to be pale
Just to attract a male
You don't have to be thick
To be a bad chick
Curly Girls or bone straight
It can't predict who you should date
You don't have to have it all
Just one look and they could fall
There is more to a connection than looks
Or even if you like to read books
The truth is
If you're a child of God
There's another pea to complete your pod
He was made just for you
As comfortable as your favorite shoe
So when you feel alone
Just remember he might not be homegrown
Los Angeles, Jersey, or Japan
I promise you'll find your man

So I wanted to let girls know that our day is coming, and we should stop trying to conform, and just be ourselves.
