I know it wasn’t exciting and fun
when we were wild, crazy, and young
but now we are old, mature and calm;
and we can help fill the spaces evacuated by mom.

Tending our needs, you do the very best
and the best is all you can invest.
And invest you do to help us strive
figuring out and scheduling our daily lives.

51 is just a silly-little number,
you even still snuggle with me during the thunder.
This is why you’re still in your youth,
if only you could still lose a tooth.

Being a villain and a hero must be tiring
but somehow everything is - in the end - inspiring
and teaching us lessons that I try to ignore
when really I want to hear a little bit more.

But it’s your birthday now so go have some fun
however, try not to bring back too many “huns”
and for once in your life worry more about you
and show everyone who is really the “Bear Jew!”

This is because you are the toughest around,
like the leaning tower of pisa, nothing brings you down
and making sure that I am always okay
especially when mommy passed away.

We’ve done a good job of recovering and moving on,
giving each other someone to depend on.
Without you I don’t know what I would do
because you are always there for me to turn too.

And I know you will always be by my side
like Robbin with Batman or Earl “the Pearl” and Clyde.
So let’s keep going in this life and killing the game
because there is so much more left for us to gain.
