Waves ride along
Pushing/Pulling
controlled by the moon.
high/low
pull people in,
killing them
drowning them
as they swallow
knowing death comes,
but they can’t help it.
water breaks the Earth.
Slowly - bit by bit.
just like words
break the soul
slowly - painfully
scattered amongst
a sea composed of
waves, words, shattered bits
of someone's soul.
