The dragon slayers fierce and bold
Mounted their horses strong.
They roamed the land in times of old
And sang a conquering song.

Riding faster than the wind
Brave knights searched far and wide,
Over the mountains and deep within
The caves where dragons hide.

Dragon slayers find the fiend
That they’ve been searching for,
In the darkness red eyes gleam
They vow the beast is nevermore.

Armor clatters and swords shine bright
Dragon-fire lights the room,
The fierce dragon, Emperor of the Night,
Is now facing his doom.

Knights ride off with triumphant sound
And leave the beast to die,
But bleeding out beneath the ground,
No one saw the dragon cry.
