October 29, 2015
As she sat on her bed,
She looked at the books,
Book she had read.
And watched.
She closed her eyes,
And smelled smoke.
And one word she spoke,
“Help”

I actually wrote this poem a while ago after I had heard about a little girl who had burned in a building that had caught on fire.
