My Destiny
I revel in the motion of the Game
I can’t wait till coach calls my name
The plays and how they produce
Stretching on the sideline and staying loose
From run plays to pass plays
there's constantly something to understand
I must focus even when the crowd roars from the stands
The size advantage benefits a bunch
when I'm making tackles and such
I take pursuit and do my job
so that the sideline doesn’t sit and sob
Football retains me physically and mentally
I never hit the other team gentally
Another reason to get exceptional grades
and display myself at school
On that field I never look like a fool
The contact is one of my favorite parts
the sound of the impacted leaves everyone thrilled
and the other sideline with chills
