Treasured Memories of Cape Cod
Heading to Cape Cod,
Where Countless memories are made
Counting the bustling boats
Floating to and from the bay.
Salty aired beaches come into view
looking at the ocean of blue
But soon after the sand dooms fade
We reach the tiny village where many memories are made.
Jumping out of the car
Thinking back on previous years
We let out cheers.
We are finally in the spot where some of our best memories are made.
Up to the loft we go
Picking out our beds
Then putting away our clothes of threads
Laughs start to fill the air,
But soon something happens and we are yelling at each other with a scare
This happens every year.
In the days to come
We might go to the trampolines
Which would never leave us glum
Maybe to the beach with the freezing cold water
We would never stay away from
Also a trip to the old fashioned candy store
Maybe picking out some chewing gum.
Soon 7 days pass of all this fun
My time is done
So sad to leave
It seems like yesterday we were unpacking
The beaches were beautiful
The water ice cold
The nightly sunsets of orange and gold
The daytime sun so bright and hot
The unique tiny shops
The shells and sand dollars we collect
I will definitely miss this place it has that affect.
So many memories are made here
They will last a lifetime and not disappear
Our friendship will live on
Which is never a yawn
I will cherish my time here now
And never forget how our best times happen
In Cape Cod.
