Dreaming

I dreamed to be a teacher, a doctor, a vet.
Maybe a singer, too.
I dreamed of huge houses, limos, traveling.
Money and fame as well.
I dream of being a doctor. Helping kids.
Changing someone's life.
I dream of going to college. Getting a degree.
Really getting into my life.
I dream of a nice house, a car, paying bills.
“I worked hard for that.”
I dream of marriage, children, to grow old.
To hear my children's dreams.
I dream of being proud of myself.
Not having any regrets. Being able to say,
“I made it.”
