i can feel sound waves.
and echo of emptiness filled with being lonely.
i tried so hard to stop feeling you.
i didn’t want the roses flowing through my nose and out my ears.
daisies danced on my tongue.
giving me a satisfaction of sweetness.
it took my breath away.
but all at once, the daisies turned into water.
and as i choked on the liquid, you stood 3 feet away.
laughing as i gasped for the small piece of you i held on to.
