Who I Am
I am from a camper, from Jay Flight and Jay Swift
I am from the sun beaming through the trees
I am from the red roses, and the lilies that are so white
I am from swimming in the lake and loving wild life
From my Uncle Vance losing his life to cancer
To my sister Jessica raising two kids on her own
I’m a Dockins
I am from going to Saint Helen every weekend
And going tubing with my loved ones
From cleaning up my messes and never telling a lie
I am from going to Church every Christmas
I am From Michigan
From being born on my grandfather’s birthday
Whom I never got to meet
From turkey on Thanksgiving
And pizza on Birthdays
From the time at Wal-Mart when I was kidnapped
By my Uncle and my cousin
The feeling I got when he picked me up
Me not knowing who it was
The fear my mother had not knowing where I was
I am from the photo album of me and my family
From the ones on my desk
To the ones hanging on my wall
