Money can buy food,
Food that keeps us alive
Alive so we don’t die
Is money the reason why?
Money inspires hatred
Hatred so deep,
Deep like the oceans
Is money the reason why?
Money creates love,
Love that is fake
Fake, as a Red Rose
Is money the reason why?
Money buys a home
Home is where we live,
Live like a Queen,
Is money the reason why?
Money causes War,
War between friends
Friends and families
Families and land
Is money the reason why?
Is money the reason why
Why we choose to live?
Is money the reason why,
Why we choose,
Choose to Die.

My poem is about how money keeps us alive and how we are alive because of money. Even though it may sound a bit childish, take a minute and really think about what I'm trying to express through this poem, and you'll realize, it's not as childish as you might've thought.
