I am the guide to the kingdoms gate
Invisible to you under the shroud of fate
An Angel that sits upon God's shoulder
But at your side as you grow older

I am the fear and only true slumber
perceived as darkness yet made of luster
You can run from my embrace
but everywhere am I you cannot escape

I am the bane of the first born heir
destroying the hold of Pharaoh's glare
restoring liberty to the slaves that were left
and taking the tyrants last and final breath

I am Azrael, I am death
A servant of heaven unlike the rest
For others like the Lord fight
to free your soul from sin's internment
My only purpose is to bring you to your final Judgment.
