Getting Rid Of My Nightmares

I no longer wanted to go through the pain
but I didn't know how to say that I wasn't okay.
So I just went through the days pretending like everything was okay.
All the while, I was waiting for a chance to slip away.
All it would've taken was a simple "Hey"
But no one wants to be around someone whos afraid to play.
It became all to clear that no one would ever be aware
so I stood up on the chair with no one to care.
and got rid of all my nightmares.
