Where I'm from
I'm from the city of Milwaukee yet from the woods and lakes out in the country.
I'm from both a house in the city yet from a log cabin in the forest.
I'm from the concrete of the streets to the sticks and stones on the forest floor.
I'm from archery hunting deer with bows and arrows, fishing for walleye with ultralight rod and Okuma reels, and drawing pictures with a pencil and paper.
I'm from the salmon in lake Michigan, to the bluegill in rivers.
I'm from the white tail in the forest and from the pheasants in the meadow.
I'm from the youngest from a family of five with two brothers that I look up to.
I'm a hunter, my oldest brother a fishermen, and the other a wood worker.
I'm from if “you try you will succeed”, and if their your friend they will stick with you.
I'm from my mounted buck, and my mounted turkey, and my fishing trophies.
