Butterfly of Hope (WWII)
Have you ever seen the bright blue sky?
Then have it taken from your eye?
All the color,
Was now worth less than a dollar.
Without a clue,
Everything is taken from you.
But only a spark
Will lighten the dark.
Only a few hues
Will give you good news.
The bright bouncing butterflies,
Flying through the skies.
Giving you a chance to see,
What things could be,
When you're freed,
The color will exceed.
