Still I Rise
You can spread your lies
You can try to cause my ultimate demise,
But just like a hot air balloon
Still I'll rise
Does my skin color concern you?
Why do you wish I was ill?
'Cause I grin like the world
Will bend to my will
You can commit your heinous actions
To hear my painful cries
But just like the sun,
Still I'll rise
