Scariest Night
I don't know why she did it
it scared me half to death
that knife in the kitchen
She just came running
I heard her stomp
my blood was pumping
She screamed at me
put it to her throat
and I went from friend to enemy
I yelled, "Mom stop!"
"I love you!"
"From your bottom to your top!"
Then I heard it clatter
that knife from the kitchen
it was time to talk about the latter
I hugged her so tight
she could barely breathe
and that, was my scariest night.

This piece is about a traumatic experience with a mother, and a 5 inch blade. I did go through this and it's made me who I am today.
