Goalkeeper

I am a goalkeeper
I wonder can I do it
I hear people giving me advice
I see my family and friends cheering
I want to become a better player
I am a goalkeeper
I pretend not to be scared
I feel the pressure
I touch the ball with my hands
I worry I won't stop it
I cry for help
I am a goalkeeper
I understand it won't be easy
I say I can do it
I dream of becoming a professional
I try my very best
I hope I don't let my team down
I am a goalkeeper
My goal is to stop yours!
I am a goalkeeper.
