People are art
I'm gonna compare art and people for a minute. It's a different outlook on things, so tell me how you feel afterwards. Im gonna start by telling you what my momma always told me when I was drawing: she used to tell me I was my own worst critic, constantly erasing, recoloring, adding new lines, new details, trying to fix everything about my drawing or whatever it may be. But, after a while smudge marks couldnt be erased. So i just had to be done with it. Everyone would tell me i did a good job, and say things like "wow", "you are talented", "thats really good", etc. And if they didn't like it they wouldnt say anything which made me feel a lot better about it. Okay, So now i'm gonna talk about people. In this generation girls have as many insecurities as their are on a little girls christmas list. We try and fic everything we can about ourselves, because, well our own worst critic. But one day it starts to show. We have other boys and girls telling us how fat we are, how our nose is to big, anything bad they can think of. And well, no matter how beautiful someone thinks we are they'll never say. So in the end, how are we supposed to feel as good about ourselves as we do our artwork, when theirs no one there to tell you the good. Everyone's telling you how bad you look... and suddenly your list of insecurities gets longer, and the hatred of them get worse, causing more "remodeling" and of course more "smudge marks". So in the end how are we supposed to find someone that can accept our emotional damage, when now even we can?
