Beyond the Shadows
You can’t see it can you?
You have a blind spot for our love.
It seems that my love for you shines as bright as the sun,
But I am always stuck in the dimness of your heart.
I always wonder if there’s a way to make you see,
past the gloom and into daylight.
Above the rain clouds and over the thunder.
If there was any way for me to save you from the night, I would.
I can’t help but shine on you.
But what’s the point?
You will never see beyond the shadows.
