Tickets and Fines
I've been facing my demons,
bearing my chest and
screaming,
'Do your best destroy me'
For I walk along side the rest,
trudging through the ruins and mess.
I am walking with girls in total mayhem,
the only thing in their stomachs is the fire inside them.
I am walking with boys who silently beg,
the only thing collecting their tears is an empty keg.
Are we all just another brick in the wall,
ready to fall?
I am in a generation that is utterly lost,
We stand here holding all of our tickets and fines, not knowing the cost.
