My Teacher is the Boogey Man
My teacher is the Boogey Man
I am very sure
She always gives us lunch detention
Even when our behavior is pure
She snarles, and groans, and bares her teeth
And when she yells
Her breath really reeks
My teacher is the Boogey Man
Wanna know how I know?
Yesterday Tommy stayed after class
And the next day, he never did show
I'm pretty sure she ate him up
All eyes, arms, and toes
All the kids believe me
Everybody knows
My teacher is the Boogey Man
And frankly, I'm quite scared
Today I really messed up
I did something no one ever dared
During class I asked a question
And made our teacher vexed
She asked me to stay after school
and now I know I'm next!

Note: This poem doesn't apply to any teachers I personally know! I wrote this in Sixth Grade while was still a little wary of having multiple teachers over the course of one day, so it's no wonder why I'd think at least one of them would be scary. I intended this to be light-hearted, and bring many laughs. :)
