Small Girl
A small girl so innocent.
A small girl so fair.
A small girl so curious,
As she steps into his lair.
A small girl so hopeful.
A small girl full of dreams.
A small girl so clueless,
As he rips out her seams.
A small girl made of glass.
A small girl so light.
A small girl sadly smiling,
As he squeezes her to tight.
A small girl so broken.
A small girl so sad.
A small girl who never realized
His promises were a trap.
A small girl growing cold.
A small girl retreating.
A small girl who's hopeful eyes
Have slowly started gleaming.
A small girl once innocent.
A small girl once fair.
A small girl who once was,
But is no longer there.

This poem was actually about my best friend as I had to struggle to watch her go through a deep depressions and several problems. I loved her dearly and it hurt to watch the life slowly drain for her, and then came this poem. I hope readers enjoy it, but more than that I hope my best friend enjoys it.
