Change for Better
It’s hard to stop thinking,
thinking about things that might not even happen.
Replaying scenarios in your head,
like a tape recorder that won’t stop playing.
It’s hard to soak up your surroundings
and play on day by day,
without letting your mind and imagination take over.
It’s hard to stop worrying about,
thinking if you’ve made the right decision or not.
Hard to lay out your choices in your head,
before you act upon them.
It’s hard to stop,
stop worrying about your decision,
questioning whether or not
others will support you,
or whether they'll question your choices.
Learn to accept that,
sometimes you need to be alone.
Alone in a world full of opportunities
and full of mistakes.
It’s hard to stop,
stop and take in your surroundings,
and adjust.
Hard to adjust to others,
others who won't follow,
and be by your side along the way.
Though in reality someone will always be by your side
and to help push you in the right direction.
It’s hard to make choices on your own,
when theirs many of those,
who oppose your own decisions.
But once you realize that others can't force their opinions on you
and that their really is someone out there who supports you,
and the choices you make,
you'll be able to move on
and your ideas with change
as you grow towards your future.
