avalanche
I knew a girl,
she was shallow as a bathtub
had eyes like frost,
had a heart like ice.
She had this glare,
this stare that stung like seawater in a cut.
When she pointed her finger it pricked like the end of an icicle.
This girl I knew,
her thoughts would float about like snow falling on a mountain top,
whether she liked it or not.
one day she couldn't take it,
so she blamed it,
blamed it all on me.
What she didn't know,
is that she left me suffocated...
Under the avalnache from her mountain top of snow.
