The Beast
It lurks in the dark, and creeps in the streets
At all angles yet unseen, the rising of The Beast
Born from Pain and Tyranny, in the Void infinity
An Unknown Identity, response to man’s vanity
It’s lacking all sanity, and has no humanity.
Just a swift movement, a figure of black
Waits ‘till you’re alone and then it attacks
Keeping its distance ‘till you turn your back
The actions of man is its favorite snack
It sleeps while awake and feasts bas it dreams
The worse that it is depends on the deeds
Done by the owner, takes form during sleep
The instinct to eat is all that it thinks
Lesser than man, destroy the links
All this and more explaining the beast
For all of the people it cares the least
And from its shackles it becomes released
Diminish populations, increase the deceased
When the dark of heart sleep, raises the beast
It’s the beginning of the endless feast
Consumption crazed frenzy of the beast
But no one knows the sad, sad truth
Everyone’s the beast even you.
