"Yearning"
Keep these thoughts to yourself; your desires
Your dreams may take fight or may plummet.
Alas, they turn as you blaze through Hell’s Fires.
You hate the deceivers, hate the liars;
They deserve to fall from their high summit.
Keep these thoughts to yourself; your desires
Can get you crushed under lethal tires,
While we laugh from our toasty climate.
Alas, they turn as you blaze through Hell’s Fires.
Paying no attention to sharp briars,
Disregarding people who deserve it…
Keep these thoughts to yourself; your desires
Come from genuine feelings, not buyers
Who only want to devalue and hit.
Alas, they turn as you blaze through Hell’s Fires.
Futures cannot be told by town friars
Rather, we sew mouths shut to a slit.
Keep these thoughts to yourself; your desires
Alas, they turn as you blaze through Hell’s Fires.
