Ode to Family
I saw love and felt peace
I saw a place where I belong
I saw their faces smile
I saw gentlenessand felt strength
You held me in your arms
A little baby small and weak
You sang me songs when I'm asleep
Told me things that made me meek
Our bonds are strong not weak
Helping me up when I fell down
Loving me when no one did
Guiding me to the right path
My parents like a candle
They give me light and everything I need
But slowly their life melts away
Never can I give enough
My family will always be there for me
As I will be for them
Love, the greatest gift you gave me
For that I will always love MY FAMILY
