Where the days are long and the mood is bright
Where it takes forever for it to turn into night

Because school is out and no stress should be made
The sound of the ice cream trucks as kids chase it down the street
The taste of summer oh it is so sweet
Lounging out by the pool, tanning all day
There’s no rules or consequences to pay
My favorite time of year, oh it seems so close
This year around, it’s college that’ll be close
Spending time with friends and fam
