The Obstacle
It’s pitch black, I can’t see at all
Looking up, I see a dim light
I would swim up but there’s a wall
It’s like it wanted me to fall
In time, I will no longer fight
If someone would just come save me
Maybe then I would stop falling
For now that is my only plea
The door is locked, I need a key
If someone could hear my calling
I at last hear my door unlock
My time is now finally here
I listen and soon I hear a knock
No one should live their life in fear
Nobody needs to disappear
