Who knew the death of the sun would be such a sight?
In the sky dotted the first star,
As the moon began to glow bright

As the moon and stars reunite,
You see to find beauty you don't have to go far.
Who knew the death of the sun would be such a sight?

When at the same height
The two friends said au revoir.
As the moon began to glow bright

The world was illuminated by moonlight
As the last bit of sunset left a scar.
Who knew the death of the sun would be such a sight?

The orb in the sky glows white
And the sky starts to look like tar
As the moon began to glow bright

You decide to call it a night
One thing going through your mind as you climb into your car.
Who knew the death of the sun would be such a sight
As the moon began to glow bright.
