A Place I Call Home
Home is a special place to me, a place of family and love. My home is in a development so it’s always busy like a zoo. A place we moved to in October, so we don’t know very many people and sometimes I feel like a lost dog. Home is the smell of candles and food cooking all the time. Home is the joyful sight of my little step-sister always dancing in the living room with a smile on her face. Home is the sound of laughter or sometimes even yelling. Home is a place where the outside is like the feel of summer, a basketball hoop in the front, and a nice deck in the back with a fireplace. The sound of the branches hitting the living room window on a windy night makes me feel like I’m in a horror movie. The lights from outside always entering my room at night causing me to be up for hours sometimes. Home is the sound of a library, with both parents being at work until 5 or it can be as loud as a storm. My house isn’t too big nor too small, it’s the perfect size for a four person family. My house is perfect to me, it’s the best house I’ve ever lived in. It’s actually a family home that I enjoy being in and it brings my family together. I’m beyond blessed to be living in it. Home is a place where I know I am always loved.
