Despite their violent manner,
the crashing waves,
create a calming melody,
sunset colors,
of orange and yellow,
intertwine in harmony,
the soft sand,
an oasis of serenity.

The waves dance across blue,
all single-file they move,
left to right,
up and down,
towards you.

Deep shades of blue
collide in a whirlpool,
foaming edges,
salty nip,
when it comes crashing,
towards you.

they follow the moon,
even though it seems that they are running towards you.

Hatred is a spider,
a spider that crawls,
into your inner thoughts,
creating a web of intricate designs,
of negative energy,
seeping into your pores,
devouring any ounce of positivity.

Its long green fingertips,
all stretching in the same direction,
absorbing the soft touch of light,
a palette of different shades of green
gentle strokes of a paintbrush,
pointy ends barely thriving,
twisted and browning edges,
fraying bark,
decaying trunk,
emerging from the moist dirt,
its roots all tangled up.
