For the soilder

Draped in Camouflage
but easy to see
that the soldier over there
is just like me.
Chest of bronze
And a heart of gold.
Does what's right
without being told.
Caught in the crossfire
of morals and obligation.
Stuck to the code
to defend his nation
Whether it's overseas
or on our shores
they fly the flag
and fight the wars
Though some may be old
and some may have pasted
let them not be forgotten
and may there glory forever last
These heros among people
The brave and the true
all stand together
for the Red, White and Blue.
