Pay to Become Fake
I woke up and looked outside
And wondered what they had to hide
Behind made up faces and expensive hair

 Their eyes were killing me
 I knew they couldn't see
How fake they were paying to become

 I said, "Please kill me,
 Only truth can heal me;
I can't stand the words they pose to scream."

It got worse as days progressed
My perfect life became a mess
I yelled for them to please take off their masks

Fire came up through the earth
And I was sure I'd be the first
To die beside these sad and shallow kids

 But they yelled back
 Their fires attacked
And nothing was going to change their miserable minds

 My patience wore thin
 The world caved in
And I saw myself for what I really am
